My Journey

Losing 90+ lbs, Overcoming Postpartum Challenges & Inspiring the Next Generation

My story began in 2020 after having my second C-section. Raising both an infant and a toddler during the COVID lockdowns was overwhelming, but it also became the turning point in my life. Fitness became my passion. After working with a postpartum specialist and successfully closing my diastasis recti gap, I realized my true calling—helping moms regain their confidence and strength after childbirth.

One defining moment changed everything for me. My oldest, just three years old at the time, was caught deadlifting her (empty) potty. When I asked what she was doing, she confidently said, “I want to be strong like Mommy.” That was the moment I knew I couldn’t quit—not on myself, not on my goals, and certainly not on the example I was setting for my children.

How It All Started

It was December 2020, and I was three months postpartum, playing with my two-year-old. I had no clue where to start or how to get fit, but I knew something had to change. I wanted to be stronger, healthier, and happier—not just for myself, but for my girls. With lockdowns in place, I had to get creative and make fitness a part of our daily lives together.

I wanted them to see me happy, to want to join in, and to celebrate victories beyond just numbers on a scale. One day, when I was feeling discouraged, my daughter reminded me why I started. “I want to be strong like Mommy,” she said. Those words nearly brought me to tears. I knew then that I was doing something right.

I kept going. Slowly but surely, the weight dropped, the muscles appeared, my confidence soared, and most importantly—I could keep up with my girls.

Turning My Passion Into a Mission

Fast forward to today, I’m now a certified fitness coach specializing in antenatal and postnatal fitness. Helping families get strong together has become my passion, and it’s why I started this business.

This journey isn’t just about me—it’s about the next generation. My youngest now mimics me in the gym, feeling proud of her own strength. My girls eagerly grab their (light) dumbbells, showing off their workout routines and asking for training tips. They aren’t focused on being “thin”—they’re focused on being strong. This mindset shift is what I love most about this new generation.
